Ranney Soccer Players Selected to Shore Conference All-Division Teams
After a successful season, three Ranney soccer players have been selected to the prestigious “B Central” Teams.
After a successful fall season, Ranney had three soccer players selected to the prestigious Shore Conference All-Division “B Central” Teams. For the boys, Shane Keenan ’17 (Tinton Falls) was selected to the All-Division 2nd team and was one of only three sophomores to make it. Shane is a second-year starter for the Panthers and had 9 goals this season.
For the girls, Samantha Schaaff ’15 (West Long Branch) and Abigail Boyan ’18 (Spring Lake) were selected to the “B Central” All-Division Team. This is the first time Ranney has had two girls chosen to represent the team. As a senior captain of the Varsity Girls’ Soccer team, Samantha has started as goalie all four years of her varsity career and has totaled more than 400 saves. Abigail was the leading freshmen scorer in the league with 14 goals on the season, a remarkable feat for her first varsity season.
