Varsity Swim Team Takes on Monmouth County Championship Meet

Ranney’s Varsity Swim team competed in the January 2015 Monmouth County Swim Championship. Coach Emmett Walling reports the results:

Girls
The Ranney Girls’ Varsity Swim team earned 11th place overall in the meet, scoring 80 points.
Meet point scoring results were:
200 Medley Relay – 8th place, time 2:00.00, Abigail Boyan, Jillian Sallustio, Audra Smires, Kate Crilly

-Kate Crilly
200 Freestyle –12th place, time 2:04.09, which qualifies her for the Shore Conference Championship
100 Freestyle – 8th place, time 55.85, which qualifies her for the Shore Conference Championship

-Audra Smires
50 Freestyle – 2nd place, time 24.15, which qualifies her for the Shore Conference Championship
100 Freestyle – 2nd place, time 52.19, which qualifies her for the Shore Conference Championship

200 Freestyle Relay – 15th place, time 2:05.03, Grace Cornell, Laura Lehrfeld, Kristen Guyler, Kate Juhase
400 Freestyle Relay – 15th place, time 4:16.25, Taylor Gill, Abigail Boyan, Laura Lehrfeld, Kate Crilly

Boys
The Boys’ Varsity Swim team earned 17th place overall in the meet, scoring 27 points.

200 Medley Relay – 16th place, time 2:03.12, Jo Turtel, Keenan Maher, Matthew Chang, Liam Fitzmaurice
