Campers Get Ready for Summer at Ranney

Students and counselors come together for a fun-filled orientation day!
An early rainy start-to-the-day did not dampen the spirits of Ranney School 2015 campers (ages 3-13) eager to participate in a pre-season camp orientation day on Saturday, June 6. The day began with senior and junior counselors greeting families and campers as the sun arrived for outside obstacle course-style games, races and ball games. Our youngest campers enjoyed parachute play and ball-handling skills, as well as story time and an act activity, while older campers engaged in science, art and physical fitness activities, including yoga, showing tremendous team-building and friend-building spirit!
 
A parent orientation was included in the morning activities. All campers enjoyed a rotation of inside and outside activities designed to connect campers and counselors, and by the smiles on everyone’s faces and the happy artwork left on our Sidewalk Art Gallery, the day was a perfect start to the 2015 Ranney Summer Camp season!

We look forward to seeing all our campers and counselors on June 29!
