A Message from the Board of Trustees on Our Strategic Vision

Dear Members of the Ranney Community,

I am proud to announce that the Board of Trustees unanimously ratified Ranney School’s 2015-2018 Strategic Vision on October 7, 2015.  This plan represents the culmination of a year-long process, led by the Board of Trustees and Head of School Dr. John W. Griffith, in collaboration with the school’s leadership team, and a strategic planning steering committee comprised of parents, alumni, faculty and staff leadership. We are deeply grateful to all of the parents, teachers, alumni, students and staff who participated in the process through surveys, focus groups and meetings. Your time, feedback and support have been instrumental in shaping a three-year vision and a new mission statement that we are proud to share with the school and the broader community.

We invite you to view our strategic planning webpage, which outlines the goals within our five priority areas: the Ranney Student, Academic & Student Life, A Unified School, Community Partnership, and Advancement & Sustainability. We are already working to put these goals into action and we look forward to sharing this work with you throughout the course of the year. We are excited about what lies ahead as our entire community works together to lead honorably, think creatively and contribute meaningfully to society.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees,

Brian Torpey, M.D.
Chair, Ranney School Board of Trustees
