French Students Across NJ Join for Concert

Singer/songwriter Eric Vincent performed on Ranney's campus to kick off National French Week.
To help launch National French Week, world language students in the Upper School had the opportunity to participate in a collaborative concert featuring singer/songwriter Eric Vincent. French students from Montgomery High in Skillman and Kent Place School in Summit joined Ranney students on our campus for the unique event.

Mr. Vincent sang and played guitar to approximately 10 songs, such as L’or de l’instant and Sème l’Amour, in French during the hour-long program, including interactive pieces in which the students repeated and sang along to key verses. Mr. Vincent began his career in Paris at the famous "Port du Salut" with Coluche and currently resides in Paris. He has performed in more than 140 countries and is considered one of the best contemporary singers in the tradition of the chanson française.

The concert was arranged by the Ranney School World Language Department.
