Ranney Athletes Make All Shore Teams

Soccer and field hockey panthers earn accolades from Conference.
Senior soccer players James Geraghty, Nathanial Asher Kraut,  junior players Noah Ayers, Ian Dobrzynski and Shane Keenan, and freshman and Ademola Odunlami have all been named to the Shore Conference B Central All-Division team. Key members of Ranney’s Varsity Boys’ Soccer team, they helped take the fall season to a 14-8 record.

Says Varsity Soccer Coach Vazquez, “From entering the Shore Conference tournament for the first time in school history, to hosting a state semifinal match, I could not have been happier to be part of such success. This would not have been possible if it weren't for the dedication and resilience the boys provided from the start to the end of the season.”

The coach, who is assisted by Mrs. Kim Harris, wishes a special congratulations to Ian, Shane, AO, James, Asher and Noah on receiving accolades on the All-Division teams. “The hard work, dedication and trust these boys displayed, allowed for a successful season. I want to thank every player and parent for their undivided commitment and belief in the program,” he said.

Ranney Varsity Field Hockey player and senior Isabelle Heckler also earned entrance to the Shore Conference All - Division B Central team. Heckler was honored earlier in the season as an NJ Prep “B” All Star with her peer players Natalie Lombardi and Victoria Cuciniello. “These girls have worked tremendously hard throughout their field hockey careers to date,” said Coach Eileen McEnery after the All Stars were announced.
