On-Campus Robotics Competition Brings 36 State Teams to Ranney

Ranney's Upper School robotics students competed against teams from across New Jersey on January 16, ultimately winning in the final rounds.
Ranney School hosted 36 teams from around the state for a robotics competition on January 16, 2016. Five of Ranney’s 11 teams competed, facing faced tough competition throughout the day. Team J made it to the quarterfinals and ultimately won the competition. Team J includes Upper School students Will Zheng, Dana Schioppo, Mike Zheng and Jack DeNicola.
 
The robotics season is heating up with several upcoming matches over the next five Saturdays, including the State Championship on February 20 at Cherry Hill East.
