United Nations Study Group Students Continue Research

Students involved in our United Nations Study Group are hard at work crafting proposals to meet the aims of the global Sustainable Development Goals agreed upon by the world organization’s member states last fall. Throughout February and March, they heard from six leaders as part of an Expert Speaker Series with the group’s partner - Monmouth University. Professors from the university addressed topics on partnerships for peace, climate change, global health and education, violence against women, and sustainable communities. The students are now working to finalize their research projects to present at UN Headquarters in June.
