Varsity Girls Basketball Wins Panther Classic
The Varsity Girls’ Basketball Team won the Panther Classic Tournament January 7, 2017 after a four-game series. The event featured Ranney vs. NJ United Christian Academy (45-14, Ranney) on Friday, January 6, followed by Doane Academy vs. Villa Victoria Academy. The games continued Saturday, Jan. 7, with United Christian facing off against Villa Victoria (36-23, Villa)and Ranney edging out Doane in a 30-29 win.
Junior Allison Sobieski was named MVP of the game.
