More Personal Records Gained at STCA Last Chance Meet

The Shore Track Coaches Association (STCA) Last Chance Meet in Toms River February 8 provided Olivia Metzger '19 with a medal opportunity.  Running the 800, Olivia sheared another two seconds off her time and the Ranney school record, finishing in 2:32.09. She came out second in her heat, and 10th overall in a field of 60 runners. In the boys 200, Marc Greenstein '18 lowered his school record in the 200, running 24.62. Both Olivia and Marc are well-positioned to make a mark at the NJSIAA Group Championships on February 18.
 
Olivia Knoop '20 ran to a personal best of 7:33.75 in the 1600. Kayla Conley '19, ran a solid 55 at 10.03, just behind her personal record. Shreyan Nageswaran '20 loped 8 seconds off his personal record in the 1600, finishing in 7:11.49.  Matthew Wrigley '20 lowered his personal mark in the 55, running 7.66. Matthew and Ethan Brandon '19 both competed in the 400, with Brandon taking the edge.  Charlie Fabricant '17 turned in a 7.59, just off his personal mark, in the 55, and tossed the shot 31-5.25.
