Middle School Baseball Wins League Championship

Update June 5: The Panthers defeated Union Beach 6-4 on June 5 in the Shore Athletic League Championship, winning the title!

June 2: The #1 seeded Middle School Baseball Team in the Shore Athletic League, the Ranney Panthers beat Keansburg June 1 in a 3-inning mercy rule game (12-2) and will now take on Union Beach as they host the league championship June 5 at 3:45 p.m. This is the second year in a row the team has led in the playoffs.

Says Coach Tori Principe, "Our players have worked extremely hard all season to get to the point we are at now.  Between bad weather, limited field availability, and reduced practice time, the kids have continued to get better, work hard, and demonstrate what it means to be a Ranney Panther both on and off the field.  We look forward to the championship on Monday and finally bringing home the title this team has been working for the past 3 years."

The team’s season record is 14-2 with a 12-1 record in the division.
