Ranney Sailing Team wins The NJISA Fall Team Racing Qualifier Regatta

One day after winning the NJISA Fall Fleet Championship, the Ranney Panthers hit the water again and captured first place in the Fall Fleet Team Racing Qualifier.

Team Racing pits each school against one another in a 3-boat versus 3-boat head-to-head competition.  Ranney competed against six other New Jersey High Schools in 13 races.  Ranney won all 13 races, going undefeated and advancing to the MASSA Fall Team Racing Championships at St. Mary’s college in Maryland, which will be held November 4-5.

The win was a complete team effort, with the following team members participating:  Luke Arnone, Cameron Giblin, Brooke Schmelz, Blake Epstein, Matthew Hamelsky, Catherine Vucetic, William Beyer, Hubert Wang, Anson He and Tom Chen. The team is coached by Clay Johnson.
