Jacob Egol Accepted into All-State High School Orchestra

Jacob Egol, Class of 2019, was accepted into 2018 New Jersey All State High School Orchestra. After being accepted to the CJMEA Region II High School Orchestra (4th Chair) Jacob was eligible to audition for the All State Orchestra. He auditioned on March 17 alongside 31 cellists representing Regions I, II and III. He was accepted 10th among best cellists in the state of New Jersey.

"He will still have a chance to improve his position at the seating auditions later this year and knowing Jacob - he will do his best to move up even higher," said Performing Arts Department Chair Dr. Dorothy Sobieski. 
 
Jacob is only the second Ranney Upper School student to achieve this success, joining Sabrina Park, Class of 2015, who represented the Pantehrs in All State Orchestra in 2014.
