Ranney Sailors Take First and Second at Cressy Singlehanded Qualifier

Ranney Sailors Luke Arnone '19, Cameron Giblin '19, and Brook Schmelz '21 competed at the Laser District Championship Regatta known as the MASSA Cressy Qualifier on Sept. 15-16 at Rochester Yacht Club.  There were 23 sailors competing from across the Mid-Atlantic States.  After two days of racing in very light winds, Ranney’s Cameron Giblin snagged the top spot and Luke Arnone captured second place.

Both Cameron and Luke will be heading to The Cressy High School Singlehanded National Championship on October 27-28 in Macatawa Michigan.
