Ranney Panther Spirit Week

Spirit Week starts next week, beginning with some fun dress down days as decided on by the Upper School Student Council and culminating in Homecoming and Fall Festival! Come and show your #PantherPride to any of the exciting community events next weekend!

Spirit Week (October 1-5)

The week will start with some school spirit days across all three divisions. Below are outlined the special Middle School/Upper School #SpiritWeek dress down days:

  • Monday - MS/US Fall colors (LS Dress Code)
  • Tuesday - MS/US mix and match (LS fall colors)
  • Wednesday- red, white and blue (LS students taking photos may change)
  • Thursday- Sports Jersey
  • Friday- Whiteout shirt

(Please note – students are asked to bring a change of clothes for school pictures. Divisional and/or teacher emails will provide specific instructions.)

As part of Homecoming, the Panthers with a Purpose Costume Drive will be beginning on Monday, October 1 and run through October 12.

On Friday, Oct. 5, there will be a school-wide pep rally at 2:30 p.m. At 4 p.m., there will be a tailgate featuring burgers, lawn games and music sponsored by the Upper School Student Council, as well as Food Trucks. The girls’ and boys’ soccer teams will play against Mater Dei under the lights (girls at 4:30 p.m. and boys at 6:30 p.m.) The Performing Arts Department will be featured during the National Anthem and halftime shows. Both games are senior days, where the seniors will be recognized prior to the start of the game, so come early and cheer on our teams! And remember, it is a WHITE OUT game, so wear you White Out shirt!

The RSPA will be selling Ranney gear during the games as well as at Fall Festival, including baseball hats and stadium cushions, as well as taking orders forRanney fleece jackets.

On Saturday, the RSPA is hosting the Color Fun Run and Fall Festival, rain or shine. Come walk, run or jog a two-mile course designed around Ranney’s campus and celebrate with us at the finish line. Day-of event registration starts at 9:30 a.m. Pre-registered participants can check in at 10 a.m. (There is still time to register here!) The race will start at 10:30 a.m. Remember to bring a bag for your phone and a change of clothes – if you do it right, the Color Run is messy!

The Fall Festival will start at 12 p.m. and will feature the 5th Annual Great Panther Pumpkin Decorating Contest (register your family here!). The Student Council will also have a car wash outside of the Margaret Mahon Building at 12 p.m. Fall Festival will include a Haunted House sponsored by the US Art Honor Society, Ranney Idol, Karate Demo, and more!

Parent volunteers can sign up for the Color Run or Fall Festival here. Middle and Upper School students can sign up to volunteer here.

After the festivities, the Varsity Boys’ Soccer team will play Barnegat at 3:30 p.m. on the grass and the Varsity Field Hockey team will play Trinity Hall at 6 p.m. on the turf field under the lights. There will also be a Panther Post uniform sale in the Margaret Mahon building.

Come out to support our Panthers, enjoy the community and be a part of all of the excitement!
