Sailing Wins Lawrence A. White Invitational Regatta

Twenty teams from across the country traveled to The United States Coast Guard Academy to sail in the prestigious Lawrence A. White Invitational Regatta.  Teams traveled from St. Thomas, Florida, Texas, New England and the Mid-Atlantic to compete in this renowned invitational regatta.  Despite the tough competition it took only four races for the Panthers to jump out in front of  the fleet and they never looked back. 

Congratulations to Coach Clay Johnson and Ranney sailors, Luke Arnone, Blake Epstein, Cameron Giblin, Matthew Hamelsky, William Beyer, John Cocozza and Brooke Schmelz.  The team heads to Hampton, Virginia next weekend to compete in the MASSA Fall Fleet Championship Regatta, hoping to earn a berth in the Atlantic Coast Championship.
