Girls' Tennis Wraps Up Outstanding Season

The Ranney Girls tennis team had another stellar season on the courts, defending their Shore Conference "B" Central Title and claiming another crown while also going undefeated in conference.

The Panthers advanced to the Shore Conference Tournament Final and battled perennial powerhouse Holmdel, falling to the Hornets in the Final.

The Panthers had a great showing at the Monmouth County Championship, and first doubles duo of Sandy Wilderotter and Lexie Greenberg took the championship on their court. Advancing to the NJISAA Prep B Championships, Wilderotter and Greenberg again took the title over Gil St. Bernards, adding another trophy to the case.

Finally in the NJSIAA South Jersey Non Public "B" Tournament the Panthers advanced to the Sectional State Final at Moorestown Friends, and after a long match, the  Panthers fell to the eventual champs 3-2.

Congratulations to the seniors: Anna Effenberger, Lexie Greenberg, Himani Nayar, Priyanka Prasaad, Sophia Salvador and Cindy Zheng.
