MS Ensembles Rated "Superior" at High Note Festival

The Performing Arts Department proudly reports that the Ranney Middle School Band, Chorus, and Orchestra were rated individually as "Superior" during the annual Middle School Music Ensemble trip on Friday, May 3rd, 2024.

All of the ensembles prepared multiple pieces for the festival by rehearsing their music over the past few months. These ensemble students traveled to New Egypt Middle School, where they performed for two judges, receiving written and recorded critiques.  The students and directors then traveled to Six Flags Great Adventure, where they enjoyed the park.  
 
"This annual trip is an awesome tradition that the middle school music students look forward to every year," said John Propper, All-School Band Director and Performing Arts Chair. "I'm proud that the Ranney Middle School Band, Chorus, and Orchestra all received the highest rating at the High Note festival. Go Panthers!"
