Visual Arts and Library Collaborate to Create and Donate Bookmarks

In a collaboration between the Visual Art and Library classes, students used mixed media techniques to make bookmarks that will be mailed to the Lisa Libraries in Upstate New York, an organization founded by author Ann M. Martin that collects new books to gift to organizations in need. The Lisa Libraries supplies books to low-income schools, shelters, and other organizations that need large batches of children's books. 

Since its founding in 1990, the Lisa Libraries has contributed more than 500,000 books to nonprofit organizations across the country.
