Justin Buck '25 and Lola MacRae '25 Honored at Shore Conference Sportsmanship Banquet
Every year, all 47 Athletic Directors in the Shore Conference choose two senior student athletes to represent their athletic departments at the Annual Shore Conference Sportsmanship Banquet, held at RWJ Barnabas Arena with more than 450 people in attendance.
The Shore Conference and their advertising partners also provided 10 student athletes each with a $1,000 scholarship.
"It is truly a very unique day in the shore where there is no competition between these rival schools, everyone is there to celebrate these incredible student athletes their commitment to leading by example and playing with integrity and respect," said Ranney School Athletic Director Natalie Gorman.
"This year Justin Buck and Lola MacRae were our Ranney School representatives and I was so honored to spend the morning with them and their families and coaches Joe Tobin and Tahj Holden. Justin and Lola are both incredible members of our Ranney community on and off the fields and court. They are humble when they win and gracious when things don’t go their way. They are always kind and respectful and they both lead with a quiet grit and determination that is very rare. They have both made a great impact at our school and we will miss the joy and positivity they bring to our teams. “
Our mission is to know and value every child, nurturing intellectual curiosity and confidence, and inspiring students to lead honorably, think creatively, and contribute meaningfully to society.
