Keira Mooar '26 Named Winner of Monmouth County Playwriting Festival

Keira Mooar '26 won the Monmouth County High School Playwriting Festival.  Her play, “When Something Trapped Ends,” was selected from plays submitted by high school students across the county.

The festival highlights the unique voices of Monmouth County's young people and showcases the perspective of the up-and-coming generation of playwrights.  As a winner, her play will receive a reading at Middletown High School South on Thursday, May 28th at 7:00 pm.

"This is a huge accomplishment for her and the product of many hours of hard work," said Caitlin O'Brien Upper School English faculty member.
