The All Shore Orchestra auditions took place on Saturday, January 10. Students prepared scales and a solo, demonstrating their knowledge of music theory by sight-read assigned excerpts.

Both the Intermediate and High School All-Shore Orchestra ensembles will begin rehearsals next week and will perform together in the All-Shore Orchestra Concert on Friday, February 27 at 7:00 PM at Wall Township Middle School. The Intermediate Orchestra will be directed by Mr. Daniel Martinho, past president of the All Shore Orchestra Directors Association and founder of ASO. All-School Orchestra Director Dr. Dorota Sobieski will be directing the High School Orchestra.

"Ranney School traditionally has a strong presence in the All Shore Orchestra, and once again this year we are proud to have a large number of participants—an excellent reflection of the strength of our string program," said Dr. Sobieski.
