Ranney boys' basketball Head Coach Tahj Holden hit a major milestone in his coaching tenure on January 24th when his team beat Red Bank Regional, earning Coach Holden his 200th win at Ranney.

Coach Holden began his tenure with the Panthers in 2015 and, in addition to surpassing the 200-win milestone, he is the only Shore Conference Boys Basketball Coach to ever win the coveted NJSIAA Basketball Tournament of Champions Title, which the Panthers won in 2019 in front of a capacity crowd at Rutgers Athletic Center.

During Holden's career with The Panthers, his teams have won two Shore Conference Tournament Titles, seven shore conference divisional titles, one NJSIAA Non Public B South Sectional Title, one State Championship, and one Tournament of Champions Title.

Holden has also coached two McDonald's All Americans at Ranney, Bryan Antoine '19 and Scottie Lewis '19 as well as one NBA Draft Pick in Scottie Lewis who was selected 56th overall in the NBA draft by the Charlotte Hornets in 2021.  The Ranney School Athletic Department Congratulates Coach Holden and his family on surpassing 200 wins!
