Aidan Grinbukh '29 Awarded in SACP Essay Contest

Congratulations to Aidan Grinbukh '29 for his second place award in the 2025 SACP (Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh) Middle School Essay Contest

Aidan created a superhero called Molecule who uses the power of intermolecular forces to stop leaks and fight fires.

"Aidan deserves to be very proud of this award," said Upper School Science faculty member Barbara Kuckohoff. "This not only recognizes his skills in science and writing,  but also demonstrates his creativity and courage."

Erin Butler, the 2025-26 High School and Middle School Essay Contest Chair, said, "The decision was difficult, as we had several excellent submissions this year. Your participation and strong submission are commendable, and we encourage you to continue your explorations of science and writing."
