Lower School Students Learn about Sustainable Energy in Hands-on STEAM Event
The Ranney School third, fourth, and fifth grade students were fortunate to participate in an incredible interactive STEAM experience on Monday, April 29 in Panther Hall.
Ranney students worked with Stephen W. Schwartz AIA, Architect of SWS Architects Livingston New Jersey, to learn about wind turbines and the sustainable energy they create. Students were teamed up to create windmills with given specifications, and then they were placed on a map that covered the floor, showing the actual locations where wind turbines are
currently being built.
The students all had a great time and learned a lot!
