Sailing Earns Unprecedented Third-Straight Trip to National Championship
For an unprecedented third year in a row, the Ranney Panthers earned a spot amongst the most elite High School Sailing teams and will return to the National Championship. This weekend the Panthers competed against 18 of the top Mid-Atlantic teams in the Mallory Qualifier in Annapolis, Maryland. Only the top three teams earned the right to move onto the National Championship held in Seattle. The conditions were challenging with varying wind and fog. Despite the conditions, the Panthers grabbed second place, ensuring that they would return once again to the Championship regatta in Seattle, May 10-11.
