Nine Middle Schoolers Invited to the All Shore Intermediate Orchestra

Performing Arts Department Chair Dr. Dorothy Sobieski announced that the nine Ranney Middle School Orchestra members have been accepted into the 2021-2022 All Shore Intermediate Orchestra!

The auditions took place on Saturday, December 4th, the day after their Winter Concert, at Wall Intermediate School. The students had to prepare an assigned solo, nine major scales, and had to perform sight reading.
 
They will rehearse with All Shore Intermediate Orchestra during the month of January and present a concert on Friday, February 11 at 7 p.m. at Wall Intermediate School.
 
“I am super proud of our young musicians,” said Dr. Sobieski. “They worked very hard and I am sure they will represent the Ranney Orchestra program with the highest level of musicianship!”
