Emma Floyd '22 Wins Tigger Stavola Foundation Student Alliance Scholarship
Congratulations to Emma Floyd '22, recipient of the Tigger Stavola Foundation Student Alliance Scholarship.
The mission of the Tigger Stavola Foundation is to fight addiction, spread awareness, and save lives through drug prevention and education.
As part of those efforts, the Tigger Stavola Foundation has partnered with many schools in the area to provide much needed support. The Alliance schools receive several benefits, such as yearly senior scholarships, free seminars, and guest speakers.
This year was the inaugural year for the TSF Scholarship and over 10 schools and 50 students submitted applications. The topic of the essay was “Who is your role model and why?”
The Foundation attended several of the award ceremonies to meet the student winners, but more broadly to build growing awareness of the challenges in addressing drug addiction. The Tigger Stavola Foundation is looking to continue to build partnerships between local schools and the Foundation.
