Three Ranney Students Compete in the Jersey Shore Science Fair

Three Ranney School science research students participated in the Jersey Shore Science Fair on  March 18: Victoria Fitlin '24 in Medicine & Health (Upper), Lirui "Alex" Liu '24 in Computer Science (Upper), and Riya Sikand '24 in Earth & Space Science (Upper). 
 
Riya Sikand earned second place in Earth & Space Science (Upper) and an invitation to participate in the  Delaware Valley Regional Science Fair (DVRSF) on April 5, 2023.  She received an Honorable Mention in Earth & Space Science (11th Grade) as well as a special award from the National Geographic Society and the Society for Science.  The “That’s Geography - Cultivating Empathy for the Earth Award” is presented to a student seeking solutions to the Earth’s most pressing challenges, in particular around oceans, land, wildlife, human history and cultures, and human ingenuity.
