Ranney Art Teachers Shine at AENJ Exhibit

Ranney teachers continue to demonstrate their wide range of talent and expertise both in and out of the classroom.

Ranney teachers continue to demonstrate their wide range of talent and expertise both in and out of the classroom. Art educators Barbara Levine, Beverly Sirianni and Ave Maria Walwark began their summer by showcasing their work as professional artists at the 2010 Art Educators of New Jersey (AENJ) Members’ Art Exhibit held recently at Kean University.

This year’s exhibit took place at the University’s James Howe Gallery from June 12-15. A closing reception was held on July 15 for all artists and their friends.

Levine, Sirianni and Walwark are among 1,400 public and private school art teachers, art supervisors, students, museum educators, and nationally recognized authors, as well as those actively involved in national and international leadership in art education, who participate in a variety of professional development activities as AENJ members. Founded in 1939, AENJ’s mission is to promote visual arts education, as well as maintain the highest possible degree of quality instruction in visual arts programs throughout New Jersey.
