Reading for Ranney Day

Get a Jump on Summer Reading at Reading for Ranney Day
On Friday, April 1, don't be fooled and miss the date — join the Ranney School Parents’ Association at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Monmouth Mall for Reading for Ranney Day! Barnes & Noble will give a percentage of each Ranney sale back to the school in support of its Paulus and Searle Libraries.

Reading for Ranney Day will take place from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. throughout the entire store and its adjoining cafe. Stop by before or after your parent-teacher conference and help support our libraries as they raise money to purchase new e-readers for their media centers. Summer reading lists for all divisions will be available, with books on hand.

Also enjoy activities, scavenger hunts, contests, storytimes and performances throughout the day, including:

10-11 a.m. Storytime for Early Childhood

11-12 p.m. Crafts & Facepainting for Lower & Middle School

12-1 p.m. Bingo for All Ages

3-4 p.m. Bingo for All Ages

4-6 p.m. Forensics Presentations & Crafts for All Ages

7-9 p.m. Family Game Night for All Ages

Can't make it to Barnes & Noble on April 1st? Shop online at www.bn.com/bookfairs between April 1 and April 6, using the Ranney School book fair ID (10423671) at checkout and a percentage of your sale will be donated back to Ranney. Anyone may participate, so tell all your friends and family!

Our mission is to know and value every child, nurturing intellectual curiosity and confidence, and inspiring students to lead honorably, think creatively, and contribute meaningfully to society.

We envision Ranney School as a nurturing learning community, in which families, faculty, alumni, and all of Ranney’s constituents collaborate to know and value every child, foster individual talents, sustain powerful connections between children and adults, and graduate resilient, globally-minded citizens.
