Ranney Announces Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees for 2011

Seven alumni will be inducted into the 3rd Annual Ranney Panther Athletics Hall of Fame on Thursday, June 2, 2011.

The Panther Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes and honors former Ranney athletes, past and present coaches and other outstanding members of the Ranney community for their positive contributions to the athletic program. As part of the Upper School Athletics Convocation in RSPA Panther Hall, this year’s elite group of former student-athletes and alumni-honorees will include:

Eligibility for induction into the Hall of Fame begins five years after a nominee graduates from Ranney School. Alumni must have displayed qualities of citizenship, character, integrity and good moral fiber while attending Ranney.

Ranney’s Head of School, Dr. Lawrence S. Sykoff, will also be honored on June 2. Throughout his tenure, Dr. Sykoff has driven the school and its athletic program to tremendous growth and expansion. With modernized state-of-the-art athletic facilities and outstanding coaches, the program has yielded numerous individual and team championships.
