Junior Math Olympiad Members Qualify for States

Lower and Middle Schoolers joined nearly 100 students from seven local schools in recent competition.
Ranney Lower and Middle School students joined nearly 100 students from seven local schools in the Elementary Math League Competition, held on campus October 22, 2015.  The Ranney team won 3rd place overall with Brandon Klatsky, Oscar Chu, Grace Nivera and Leanid Boika qualifying for the State Championship, which will take place in spring 2016! Congratulations to our young mathematicians who placed:

4th grade:

Dylan Oster - 10th place

Balkin Yildirim - 9th place
John Welch - 8th place
Luke Buda - 7th place
Mason Bindler - 6th place
Anna Baghdassarian - 5th place

5th grade:
Grace Nivera - 8th place
Leanid Boika - 2nd place

6th grade:
Brandon Klatsky - 9th place


Ranney’s Math Olympiad as advised by Middle School Teacher Jane Guadagno. The team will compete in at least two more regional contests this winter.
