Chang Places 3rd at Monmouth Co Swim Champs; Places in Conference Champs

Congratulations to Matthew Chang ’18, who placed 3rd to win a medal in both the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle events at the 2017 Monmouth County Swimming Championships held at the Neptune Aquatic Center Jan. 7, 2017. Matthew finished with a time of 22.78 and 49.28 seconds out of 70 and 62 swimmers in the 50 and 100 freestyle events, respectively. He bested his previous year’s performance finish of 5th in the 50 Free and 4th in the 100 Freestyle events. 


Update Feb. 6, 2017: Matthew Chang came in 3rd in the 50 Freestyle and 2nd in the 100 Freestyle at the weekend's Shore Conference Championship. He has qualified for the State Meet of Champions! Congrats also to conference championship participants Luke Denver Moore, Joe Strizhak, and Aidan Smires!
