Sailing Team Competes at Nationals

Ranney’s Sailing Team gave a solid performance at its first National Championship appearance over the May 13-14 weekend, finishing in 11th Place out of 20 teams across the country.

The team, made up of primarily sophomores, is only in its second full year of competition. Ranney, along with fellow New Jersey school, the Christian Brothers Academy, represented the state Interscholastic Sailing Association and the MidAtlantic Scholastic Sailing Association at the Mallory National Championship, which was held on the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The team and Coach Clay Johnson look forward to hitting the water again in the fall!
