Ranney Sailors Compete in the High School Singlehanded National Championship

Ranney sailors Luke Arnone '19 and Cameron Giblin '19 represented NJISA and MASSA in the 2017 Cressy High School Singlehanded National Championship, hosted at the St. Petersburg yacht Club in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Oct. 28-29.

The light wind on Saturday limited the sailing to two races, but Sunday brought tough conditions with 20-25 knots of wind, allowing another 11 races to be sailed.

Cameron Giblin finished 5th overall and Luke Arnone finished 12th overall.

The MASSA district team racing Championship will be held Nov. 4-5 and the Atlantic coast Championship will be held Nov. 11-12.
