Lily Egol Accepted into All Shore Orchestra

Lily Egol, Class of 2022, auditioned for the All Shore Orchestra on Saturday, Dec. 2, and was accepted as a 3rd seat in the First Violin Section. 
 
Lily is an officer in the Jr. Tri-M Chapter 4410, a concert mistress of the Middle School Orchestra, and you have seen her recently on stage in the Middle School production of "Once Upon A Mattress". She auditioned at Wall Intermediate School, performing an excerpt from Nardini's Violin Concerto in e minor, selected scales and sight reading excerpt, playing a "blind" audition in front of judges representing Orchestra Directors from Monmouth and Ocean Counties. 

"It is a great accomplishment and we are all very proud of her," said Dorothy Sobieski, Performing Arts Department Chair.  "I hope she will inspire more students to try out for All Shore Orchestra next year."
