Ranney's Winter Reading Wonderland
In an effort to help students maintain or reconnect with a love of reading, Ms. Slowinski and Ms. Swiatocha turned Paulus Library into a Winter Reading Wonderland on Dec. 15, complete with hot chocolate, cookies, a fireplace and falling snow!
With some blankets on the floor, they (with the help of some Upper School students) talked to Middle School students about great ways to find new books that interest you, and then how to track down those books at the Ranney library, or local libraries.
They even found out the students' favorite books as children and had those displayed around to remind them where their love of reading started. A great way to send students off to break!
