Dozens of Alums Return to Campus for College Panel
Nearly 50 alumni returned to Ranney to share advice (the good, the bad and the ugly!) with current Upper Classmen about the transition to college. Get the full story and watch video interviews here!
Nearly 50 alumni returned to Ranney School’s campus on January 7, 2016, for the annual Young Alumni College Panel and Luncheon. Led by Upper School Assistant Head Adam Materasso and Director of Alumni Relations Tom Moriau, the panel provides current juniors and seniors with insight into the transition from high school to college, including academic expectations, time management and the often asked-about dormitory and roommate living situation.
Eight young alums—all freshmen at colleges and universities across the country—participated on the panel to provide first-person, realistic advice to Ranney students who will soon be embarking upon their own college journeys. After the panel, alums gathered with their former faculty members and advisors to reconnect and share updates on their lives since leaving Ranney.
