Need-Based Financial Aid

Families of students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 are eligible to apply for need-based financial aid. Currently 11% of our students receive need-based financial aid; the average award is approximately $11,000 (roughly $8,000 for grades K-5; $12,000 for grades 6-8; and $15,000 for grades 9-12).

Interested applicants must apply online by submitting tax documents and other financial information through FACTS Management (FACTS), a third-party provider of tuition management and school payment processing. Ranney’s Financial Aid Committee allocates financial aid awards after review of FACTS’ recommendation of need. The deadline to apply for the 2019-2020 school year is January 25, 2019.  Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Families must re-apply to renew their financial aid award each year, however assuming circumstances have not changed materially, a family can anticipate that their award will remain stable throughout the student’s tenure at Ranney.

As part of the online application, FACTS will request the following documents:
  • Copies of your 2017 and 2018 Federal 1040 tax forms, including all supporting tax schedules and attachments
  • Copies of supporting documentation for Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, and Workers’ Compensation (not all applicants will have such items)
All supporting documentation can be uploaded in PDF format online. Documentation can also be faxed to 866-315-9264 or mailed to the address below. Please be sure to include your FACTS applicant ID number on all faxed or mailed correspondence.
