Nineteen students from Ranney School attended the 2026 New Jersey FBLA State Leadership Conference, competing in a range of events alongside more than 4,000 students from across the state.
"First and foremost, congratulations to all of our students who competed," said advisor Kathleen Brown. "Representing Ranney at the state level requires preparation, professionalism, and confidence, and we are proud of the way our students represented the school."
Several students earned top placements in their events. Ten students brought home medals, and three qualified for the FBLA National Leadership Conference in June. Only the top four students in each event qualify for nationals.

"I would also like to congratulate Avi Rao ’26, who ran for a state FBLA leadership position, said Brown. "He ran an outstanding campaign and was supported by fellow Ranney students who campaigned enthusiastically on his behalf. Avi is the first Ranney student to pursue a state FBLA leadership role, and we are proud of his initiative and leadership."
"We are very proud of all of our FBLA members for the hard work they put into preparing for this competition and for representing Ranney so well," said Brown.
