US Robotics Competition Hosted at Ranney School

On January 26, 39 teams competed in the VEX VRC Robotics Competition at Ranney School in Tinton Falls, NJ.
 
Team E consisting of Anthony Virone, Christian Virone, Olukayode Oladeji, Derek Vastola and Rohan Sikand placed third in the Qualifying Rounds.
 
Freshman Team J (Brandon Klatsky and Vik Shah) placed in the top half of the competitors in skills. 
 
Previously Team M (Kevin Yu, Alex Klatsky, Sandy Wilderotter and Emerald Liu) won the TCNJ tournament, which qualified them for the State Championship and the National Championship.
 
Ranney also qualified to participate with an additional team in the open division in the National Championship.
 
Alumni Chip Johnson and Chris Glenn were the scorers in the competition.
